Can't Wish Entry Of Foreign Varsities
Mangalore University has made it clear that they dislike the entry of Foreign starters. India, an endorser to the agreement of WTO, Mangalore steps back to wish the effect that would be on most of the sectors, not just Business but also Education. “However, Foreign Universities enter India expeditiously of quite later, but it is also necessary to take up this challenge precisely on actualizing consciousness among Stake-holders, Students, Parents, Educationists and Policy makers,” said the vice-chancellor of Mangalore University Mr.T.C Shivashankara Murthy on Wednesday.

A National conference which was sponsored by UGC, in attention to the 'Impact of WTO agreement on Higher education in India' was composed by SDM College of Business Management. This conference was held in combination with Public Relations Society of India, Mangalore-Manipal phase. The vice-chancellor also said that “Foreign Universities are already into the Education Sector in India via cross-border supply technique. They are attracting students to their Universities through the exhaustion and touring manner."

With respect to this, CNR Rao Committee has raised an administrative contrivance in order to provide protection, for interests in Local Universities.
