DU to declare 5th cut-off list today
Delhi University (DU) is all set to release its fifth cut off list today, i.e. 8th July 2011. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) admissions may continue after the declaration of the list in many DU colleges, while general category students can hardly expect anything.

Sri Venkateswara College, of South Campus is expected to close its admission for general category, but OBC admission might remain open for most of the courses. Kamala Nehru College will also continue with its admission for the OBC category for most of its courses.

Hindu College may close its OBC admissions for Chemistry, Physics, Physical Sciences, Botany, Political Science and B.A. Programme. Another south campus college, Hans Raj College has also closed its admissions in Physics and Chemistry and has finished admission in the general category.

However, it is believed by many experts that it is more important to stick to the course rather than finding a seat in one of the best Colleges in DU with some other course. Afterall, a course will matter in the long run to shape a career. Therefore, students must not get disheartened and keep up their best spirits.
