DU's third cut-off list offers little ho
Delhi University have declared the third cut-off list on 25th June 2011. Although the third list could only offer little hope to candidates seeking admission in commerce and science courses.

The Colleges are suppose to come up with two more list after this but, it seems most of the colleges will wrap up the admission process soon much before the fourth and fifth list come up. This holds true only for the general category students.

Meanwhile, many colleges are giving away 10 per cent relaxation in cut-off marks to fill the seats under the reserved OBC quota. For B.Com ( Honours), most colleges have closed their admissions. Only 13 colleges are left for admission to the course. Hansraj College and Kirori Mal College are the only North Campus institutes which will continue to offer admissions to the students for a limited period of time.

For Economics ( Honours), another popular choice with DU aspirants, hope is much bleaker with only five colleges now open for admission. With higher cut-offs demanded for science courses, most of the colleges are sone with the admission to Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. Only admissions would be available for BSc in Lifescience couse.
