CBSE high scorers raised the cut offs in
This year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII aspirants have performed well all across India. Specially, the science group students have fared well by scoring high marks in Mathematics. This may be alarming for those who want to grab a seat in any of the Delhi University(DU) Colleges for Undergraduate courses, as the competition will be tough with high cut offs as eligibility factor.

According to reports, 1449 students will be receiving merit certificates for doing well in mathematics in CBSE Class XII examinations this year. Like for engineering students the cut off has increased, it is assumed that admission to popular courses such as B.Com, B.Com (Honors) and Economics (Hons.) in Delhi University (DU) colleges will be extremely tough this year.

The board of education have revealed that this year 2265 students in Delhi alone have scored 98% and above in mathematics. Mathematics being a compulsory subject for B.Com (Hons),Economics (Hons) and B.Com in some colleges, students aspiring to opt for these courses will have to face much competition.

This will definitely put an impact over the admissions in Delhi University Colleges. Also, apart from CBSE, other boards students have also delivered brilliant results this year with large number of high scorers. Hence, this year the students aspiring for a seat in DU college will see tough competition.
