DTU will begin engg admissions from 7 June 2011

Delhi Technological University (DTU) is suppose to begin its admissions from 7 June, 2011 for the 2011-12 academic session.This year the admission process has been divided into three phases. Admissions will be completed by 26 July 2011 and the new academic year will commence from 2 August 2011. BTech programme in mathematics and computing with an intake 60 seats will also be introduced from this year. Also, the university for the first time is introducing online registration process.

The first phase of admission starts from 7 June and will continue till 15 June 2011, where aspirants will be allowed to register online. They are required to submit their details, pay registration fee (application fee) and will be allotted a user id and password.In the second phase, which is from 23 June to 29 June, eligible candidates will be allowed to indicate their subject preference. They can change their choices till 29 June 2011, but not any further.

The first list of eligible applicants will be displayed on the website on the first week of July. Selected candidates are required to visit the university, submit their documents, pay the fees and secure their admission during the allotted days.The admissions will be done on the basis of the rank obtained in AIEEE-2011 and subject to a student clearing his/ her class XII or BSc (General) or BSc (H) examination with minimum 60% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. A candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study.
