IMU to conduct entrance CET-LLM on 19 June 2011

The school of legal studies, Indian Maritime University (IMU) invites application for admission to the LL.M program in maritime law.The LL.M is a two year masters program in maritime law that aims to provide a thorough grounding in all aspects of international maritime law. The curriculum includes specialized courses in shipping law and the law of the sea.

Eligibility:
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in law with at least 55% marks or equivalent 50% in case of candidates belonging to scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST) and differently abled (DA) categories} awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central of state legislature in india. Candidates awaiting results can also apply.

How to apply:

IMU-CET (LL.M) application form will be made available online.Download the form and pay the relevant fee through challan to any of SBI/Indian Bank branches throughout india.Or Application can be obtained by sending demand draft of Rs1000 (Rs 500/- for SC/ST/DA candidates) in favour of “indian maritime university” payable at “chennai” to “controller of examinations.”

Last date for receiving of applications: 27th May 2011
Date of CET-LL.M: 19th June 2011

Test Centres:
The institute will conduct the common entrance test (CET-LL.M) on 19 June, 2011 at Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Pune.
