Admissions open at HP University
Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla invites application for admission to M.Sc. Microbiology and M.Sc. Biotechnology courses at HPU Campus and its affiliated institutions.
Eligibility:
For M.Sc. Biotechnology: Bachelor Degree under 10+2+3 pattern in Science in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fisheries Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering / Technology, 4 Years B.Sc. (Physician Assistant course) or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS with at least 55% marks for general and other category and 50% for SC / ST category candidates.
For M.Sc. Microbiology: Bachelor Degree under 10+2+3 pattern in Science with any of the subjects i.e. Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Botany or Zoology or MBBS / B.V.Sc. with at least 55% marks for general and other category and 50% for SC / ST category candidates.
How to apply:
The Prospectus containing details and prescribed application form will be available from C/O Chairman, Department of Biotechnology, H.P. University, Shimla w.e.f 12 May, 2011 on cash payment of Rs.1250.
A copy of the prospectus can also be obtained through Registered Post by remitting Rs.1350 for General and Rs.750/- for SC/ST category through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Coordinator (Microbiology Program), Department of Biotechnology, H.P. University, Shimla”.
