Karnataka CET 2011 exam analysis

Yesterday i.e. 28 April 2011 was the day two of Common Entrance Test Karnataka (CETK), 2011, which was reportedly better than day one, for most of the candidates.To most of the candidates, physics and chemistry papers were easy compared to mathematics and biology papers. But, the chemistry paper was really tricky in comparison to the previous years paper.

Although easy, some candidates felt physics paper was a little too lengthy than chemistry,
an average student could attempt 30 to 40 questions in 70 minutes. The syllabus coverage was balanced.Weightage given from first PU syllabus was 32%, second PU syllabus 68%, easy questions 25%, moderate questions 50%, difficult questions 20%, and ambiguous questions 5%.

The Chemistry paper was moderate, and the syllabus coverage was balanced. Weightage given was 18 questions from I PU and the rest from II PU syllabus. Easy questions comprised 30 and there were 10 moderate questions.
