AIEEE aspirants upset with exam centres location

It's been a long wait after which the students appearing All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) 2011 got their hall tickets. After recieving the hal tickets, many aspirants were surprised to find that the exam centres alloted are very far. With lakhs of students across the country waiting to appear for the exam on 1 May,2011, city students are surprised to have received centres far away.The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which conducts the exam, claimed that they will look into the matter the next academic year.

With exam centres alloted far from a candidates place menas many of the students will find it difficult to reach the exam centres on time. They will have to leave home three hours in advance to reach the centre on time.Specially for the students living in metro cities where the traffic is too high. Many aspirants feel, it is very difficult to travel all that distance when you are to appear for an important exam. The complains are reported regarding the non-functional helpline numbers. The students were unable to reach anybody on the helpline numbers and the landline numbers.

AIEEE being one of the largest entrance exam, witnessed 10,65,100 students appearing the exam in 2010 from all over the country for over 27,000 seats available in all deemed universities, National Institutes of Technology, and other technical institutions.
