Medical entrance of DY Patil scheduled in May

DY Patil Education Society Kolhapur will conduct the entrance exam for MBBS, BPTh, BSc Nursing through All India Common entrance test (AICET)-2011 in May. D. Y. Patil Education Society is established in the year-1987 with the mission to provide best quality education in the area of health sciences comparable with the best institutions in the world. Presently the Society is running the following institutions- Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur and Dr. D. Y. Patil Hospital & Research Centre, Kolhapur.

For MBBS: A candidate must secure not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) at common entrance test AICET-2011
For BPTh: A candidate will be selected on the basis of merit in common entrance test AICET-2011.
For Nursing: A candidate will be selected on the basis of merit in common entrance test AICET-2011.

How to Apply:
The application form duly complete may be dispatched by registered post/speed post/courier only or be submitted in person.The application form and information brochure are also available on the website. Candidates may fill this form and dispatch the same to the university along with a demand draft of amount (price of information brochure plus entrance test fee) demand draft should be drawn on any nationalized bank, in favour of Registrar, DY Patil Education Society, deemed university, payable at Kolhapur.

Important Dates:
Last date for submitting the application form: 30th April, 2011 upto 5.00 p.m.

With late fees: 11th May, 2011 up to 5.00 p.m.

With additional late fees: 19th May, 2011 upto 5.00 p.m.

Dispatch of admit cards: Two weeks before the day of AICET-2011

Issue of duplicate admit cards: At AICET centers between 08.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. on the day of AICET-2011

Date of AICET-2011: 21st May, 2011, Saturday, 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Declaration of result: 17th June, 2011, 5.00 p.m.
