Placement session ends at SPJIMR

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai completed placements for the session 2009-11. The PGDM batch was placed successfully.The institute is rated as one of the top B-schools in India.

The 2009-2011 PGDM batch consisted of 178 students. 76 companies participated in the placement process. Almost 242 offers were extended to the students with an average salary of about Rs.14.07 lakh per annum. Nearly, 52.5% of the 2009-2011 PGDM Batch were extended pre placement offers (PPO's) from big companies.

The consulting sector exhibited an increase in the number of the offers being extended to the students of 2009-2011 batch. Around 21.35% of the PGDM batch was extended offers from Finance and Banking sector. The students of 2009-2011 PGDM batch were also extended Corporate - Information Technology roles from IT business leaders such as i-Gate, HP, Wipro and TCS. Marketing sector's FMCG Companies offered jobs to nearly 23% of the batch. In the year 2011, companies such as RPG Group, RIL, M&M and Tata Administrative Services extended about 16 offers in middle management profiles.
