Preparation guidelines for CET-K 2011

The Common Entrance Test for Karnataka (CETK) is a state level entrance examination. This exam allows the students to pursue courses like medical, dentistry, engineering in the Karnataka's Professional Education Institutions.
In order to opt Engineering courses through CET, the candidates need to prepare for subjects like Maths, Physics and Chemistry.While preparing for Medical stream, the candidate will have to appear for objective type tests. These tests are held in physics, biology, chemistry subjects.However, the syllabus of CET-K is totally based on PUC I and II syllabus, prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of the state of Karnataka.

With CET-K 2011, Karnataka scheduled for 27 and 28 April, 2011, here is what you can do in order to perform well in CET-K 2011:

With board exams already scheduled , adjust your study timings by dividing the topics in small sessions.Prepare well for both the exams simultaneously, as the syllabus is common.

Plan your strategies by giving importance to the subjects you are not comfortable with.

Set your goals of finishing the topics everyday.

Devote some of your time in meditation or relaxation.

Understand your strengths but never ignore your weaknesses, if you try you can surely overcome them.

Do not force yourself to learn new lessons when exam days are nearing.

Do not confuse yourself with lot of study in a day.

Keep last three days before the exams for revision.

Most importantly believe in yourself and stay calm.

If you put all these efforts carefully, you will certainly do well in examinations, be it an entrance exam or a board exam.
