Karnataka's Learning Management System (LMS) will launch 2,500 smart classrooms and distribute Tablet PCs to 1.55 lakh higher education students on June 23, 2021, at Vidhana Soudha's Banquet Hall.
These ambitious schemes will be launched at 11 a.m. by Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa. According to an official announcement by the state government, these schemes are being implemented under Karnataka LMS by the department of collegiate education.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has been invited as a special guest. Dr. C N Ashwatha Narayana, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Higher Education, will be present, as well as D V Sadananda Gowda, MP, and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers, among others.
The distribution of Tablet PCs will also take place concurrently in several universities throughout the state, in the presence of the respective elected representatives.
