The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the board examination schedules for both Class 10 and Class 12 for the academic year 2026. The announcement brings clarity and direction to thousands of students across the Union Territory who are preparing for these crucial examinations. With clearly defined exam dates and timings, candidates can now structure their revision plans more effectively and approach the exams with confidence.

As per the official notification, the JKBOSE Class 10 Board Examinations 2026 for the Summer Zone will be conducted from 17 February 2026 to 10 March 2026. All Class 10 exams will be held in the morning shift, starting at 10:00 AM. The timetable includes all major subjects prescribed in the JKBOSE Class 10 syllabus, ensuring adequate gaps between papers to help students revise thoroughly. Candidates are advised to go through the subject-wise schedule carefully, note down important dates, and prepare a focused study plan to perform well in the exams.

Similarly, the JKBOSE Class 12 Board Examinations 2026 are scheduled to take place from 23 February 2026 to 28 March 2026. Like Class 10, the Class 12 examinations will also be conducted in the morning session starting at 10:00 AM. The timetable covers all streams, including Science, Arts, and Commerce, and is structured as per the latest syllabus and examination guidelines issued by the board. JK SBOSE JK SBOSE Exam

Exams for classes 10 is primarily administered by the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JK SBOSE). It is an independent authority that reports to the Jammu and Kashmir government and is based in Jammu and Srinagar. The JK Board has declared that it will start holding the annual board exams for the Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh areas in March and April this year. It has created soft and hard zone regions in the Jammu and Kashmir divisions (erstwhile summer & winter zones).
