IAF is going to recruit 271 commissioned officers (246 for males and 25 for females) in flying and ground duties for both technical and non-technical posts through this drive.

The exam will be held for 3 consecutive days (Aug 26 - 28) in online mode across two shifts: one in the morning (9.45 am to 11.45 am) and the other in the afternoon (2.45 pm to 4.45 pm)
The Indian Air Force conducts this test twice every year, first in February and then in August. The first one is called AFCAT 1 while the latter is known as AFCAT 2.
Medium is exclusively English and questions are objective-type: irrespective of whether you opt for the AFCAT/Engineering Knowledge Test.
Step 1: Click on the link afcat.cdac.in or paste it into your browser and press enter.
Step 2: Click on 'CANDIDATE LOGIN' button and then choose 'AFCAT 02/2022'.
Step 3: Now you'll be directed to the Log-in page. Enter your credentials (Email ID, password, displayed text) and log in.
Step 4: You'll now see the 'Download Admit Card' link.
Step 5: Download and take a print-out.
Note to the AFCAT aspirants: The printout of the admit card is mandatory to carry to the allotted exam centre. Also, carry other important documents to avoid any trouble later.
