About

IndiaSkills 2023-24 is a competition for skill development that intends to encourage and improve the talents of people in a variety of fields, preparing them for regional, national, and international skill competitions.

The WorldSkills competition is preceded by the IndiaSkills event. Participants who perform well at the national level of IndiaSkills will compete in WorldSkills on a global scale.

Every two years, 86 member nations participate in the WorldSkills Competition, which is run by WorldSkills International.

These contests provide an objective way to assess professional brilliance and act as a barometer for high performance.

India's WSC 2022 Performance

India competed in 50 talents and earned its highest-ever ranking, 11th place, with two silver medals, three bronze medals, and thirteen medallions.

A wide variety of abilities, including hotel receptionist, mechatronics, mobile robotics, water technology, bakery, online technologies, and more, were included in the participation.

Through the IndiaSkills Competition 2021, contestants from India were chosen, and they received training from WorldSkills India trainers and experts.

In addition to launching IndiaSkills 2023-24 in New Delhi, Union Minister of Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan also recognized the World Skills 2022 competition winners. In the international competition, India has earned the 11th spot. The World Skills Competition, which takes place every two years, is the biggest skills competition in the world. It is run by WorldSkills International, an organization with 86 member nations.

The minimum support price for wheat has increased by the most since 2014. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) meeting, which was presided over by Prime Minister Modi, reached this resolution.

7. (a) Draupadi Murmu

President Draupadi Murmu has introduced the fourth agriculture road map (2023-2028) in Bihar. The President stated that agriculture plays a significant role in Bihar's folk culture on this particular occasion. The economic foundation of Bihar is this. Since 2008, the Bihar government has been carrying out the agriculture road map. Nitish Kumar is now the Chief Minister of Bihar.
