The Government of India, through the Ministry of Home Affairs, has decided to observe 26th December as "Veer Baal Diwas" annually. This day is dedicated to honoring the bravery and sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh, the young sons of the tenth Sikh Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
On 26th December 1705, at the tender ages of 9 and 6 respectively, they made the ultimate sacrifice in their pursuit of justice. To mark Veer Baal Diwas on 26th December 2023, the school has planned various activities according to the guidelines set by CBSE.
Due to ongoing winter vacations, schools are organizing the online events around this. Apart from interactive quizzes on My Gov/ My Bharat portals schools are organizing the essay and quiz competitions and awareness sessions are being organized across India.
