UPSC Success Story: An IITian, A Government Job Holder at Railways, Quit the Job and Emerged as an IAS

UPSC CSE Result 2023: On April 16, 2024, the Union Public Service Commission announced the final UPSC CSE (Civil Services Examination) 2023 results.  UPSC Success Story

A total of 1016 candidates have been selected in the UPSC this year; 347 of them hail from the General Category, 115 are from EWS, 303 are from Other Backward Classes, 165 are from Scheduled Caste, and 86 are from Scheduled Tribe.

How Many Candidates are Selected for Which Post?:

180 applicants were selected for UPSC IAS service this time. In contrast, 200 applicants have been selected for IPS and 37 individuals have been chosen for IFS service.

IAS Shoham Teberiwal Success Story:

Rank 77th in the UPSC Civil Exam 2023 was achieved by Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh native Shoham Teberiwal. The second time around, Shoham cleared the civil examination. In which he was chosen for the IAS position. His family experienced a surge of joy upon the release of the UPSC results. Shoham is receiving congratulations on social media as well. From Delhi, Shoham has been preparing for the UPSC exam. Numerous people visited his home to offer congratulations. Anupam Teberiwal is a businessman and the father of Shoham Teberiwal. Seema Teberiwal, her mother, is a homemaker.

Educational Qualification of Soham Teberiwal:

Shoham attended Woodrow School for his 12th-grade education and St. Francis for his 10th. Following this, he completed his B.Tech in Civil Engineering at IIT Bombay. He also worked in Gurugram for a while after earning his B.Tech. Following that, Shoham took the UPSC exam and was chosen for the Railways on his first try at the CSE exam. And now, after placing 77th on his second try, Shoham has been chosen for the IAS position.
