Understand The CGL Exam

Prior to starting your preparations, aspirants should know everything about the SSC CGL examination. Starting from the exam pattern to the syllabus, one should get familiar with the test. Though SSC CGL consists of aptitude sections, one has to prepare for the exam in a unique way. Try to understand the approach of the exam and prepare accordingly.

Prepare An Effective Study Schedule

If you have joined a coaching institute, they will make you adopt the schedule they follow. There are pros and cons to this. We suggest you prepare your own study plan based on your strengths and weaknesses. One can use the SWOT analysis for SSC CGL to know how to kick-start their preparations.

Tackle The Subjects Individually

Take Free Mock Tests

As the SSC CGL exam is now conducted online, aspirants should get familiar with the computer-based examination. One can take full-length online mock tests, which are usually not available for free. However, one or two mock tests are available for free of cost; never ignore them. Apart from the mock tests, one will also find the previous years' question papers besides practise bits which are also useful for the exam.
