Nirmala Sitharaman

At 64 years old, Nirmala Sitharaman holds a prominent position in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has been serving as India's Minister of Finance and Minister of Corporate Affairs since 2019. From 2017 to 2019, Ms. Sitharaman served as the 28th Defence Minister, becoming India's second female to hold both the positions of defence minister and finance minister after Indira Gandhi.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra

At the age of 42, Roshni Nadar Malhotra is an Indian billionaire and philanthropist. As the chairperson of HCL Technologies, she achieved the historic feat of becoming the first woman to lead a listed IT company in India. Roshni is the sole offspring of HCL founder Shiv Nadar. Continuously recognized among the world's most powerful women by Forbes, she held the 54th position in 2019, the 55th in 2020, and the 60th in 2023.

Soma Mondal

At 60 years old, Soma Mondal presently holds the position of Chairperson at the Steel Authority of India, creating history as the first woman to assume this role since January 2021. Hailing from Bhubaneswar, she earned her degree in Electrical Engineering in 1984. Accumulating over 35 years of experience in the metal industry, she commenced her career at NALCO and ascended to the position of Director (Commercial) before joining SAIL in 2017. Among Ms. Mondal's career achievements are being the inaugural woman Functional Director and Chairman at SAIL. Beyond her corporate triumphs, she serves as the Chairperson of SCOPE and received recognition as the 'CEO of the Year' at the ETPrime Women Leadership Awards in 2023.

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw

70-year-old Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is a well-known Indian millionaire businessman. In Bangalore, India, she founded and directed Biocon Limited and Biocon Biologics Limited. She was the previous chairman of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, in addition to her participation in biotechnology firms. Mazumdar-Shaw has earned various honours for her contributions to science and chemistry, including the Othmer Gold Medal in 2014. In 2011, she was named one of the Financial Times' Top 50 Women in Business. In 2019, Forbes named her the 68th most powerful woman in the world, and in 2020, she was named the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year. She is ranked 76th on the Forbes List of Powerful Women in 2023.
