The news of the havoc of Covid19 virus in China is scaring everybody. The Government of India has already started taking the required steps. If Coronavirus spreads again in India, the biggest problem will be unemployment in the country. The private companies and corporate firms have already frozen the funds and put a cap on new recruitment. Government jobs are already under the influence of contractual work, which is not becoming the trend in central as well as in the states. Above all these, there is a huge segment of the youth who wants to serve the nation at the borders.
Yes, we are talking about the millions of youth who are waiting for the opening of Army Recruitment Rallies. Though the government of India has opened its doors under the Agniveer Scheme, the seats are not enough.
Let's take a look at how many people were recruited in the army every year in the country before Covid. We will present the recruitment data of not only the army but also the air force. Indian Navy has discontinued the conduct of mass recruitment drives (rallies/camps) and has fully migrated to online application-based recruitment examinations. The source of the data is Lok Sabha's official website.
