Apple Apologises for Slowing Down Performance for Battery Life; Here's All About Battery Engineering

Appl Inc on Thursday apologised for intentionally slowing down the speed of phones in old iphone models in order to save battery life and prevent it from shutting down in cold weather.

"Have never -- and would never -- do anything to intentionally shorten the life of any Apple product," the statement read.
