DoTE Has Released The TNEA Rank List 2022 Today at tneaonline.org; Know Details

The DoTE(Directorate of Technical Education), Tamil Nadu, has today released the TNEA(Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) 2022 rank list. The TNEA rank list 2022 pdf download link is made available by DoTE at tneaonline.org.

TNEA 2022 rank list is released today, August 16. Candidates can check the TNEA rank list 2022 on the official website-tneaonline.org. Candidates can download the TNEA Rank list pdf from the official website tneaonline.org. More than 2 lakh students had applied for TNEA Counselling 2022, and students can now check their results.

TNEA Counselling 2022 would begin soon after the ranks are released. This year TNEA counselling will begin on August 20 for ex-servicemen, sports, PwD, and the 7.5% government school quota. Regarding the general category, the first allotment list will be released on August 25, 2022.

TNEA Rank 2022 List is prepared based on the merit of students in the TN Plus 2 Examination and Class 12 qualifying examination. The Rank List has been prepared per the following tie-breaking criteria for students with the same percentage.

Candidates with the same marks in Mathematics are then ranked based on their marks in Physics, with higher marks getting higher rank, and subsequently in Chemistry.
If this doesn't work, the candidate with higher percentage marks in the optional i.e. fourth subject will be given a higher rank. In case all marks tally, the date of birth and then the random numbers would be considered to break the tie and allocate a rank. The TNEA Random Numbers have already been released.
