NEST Examination 2023; Overview, Application Procedure, and Eligibility Criteria

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a national-level entrance exam jointly administered by NISER, Bhubaneswar, and UMDAE-CEBS Mumbai. NEST is an entrance exam required for individuals seeking enrollment to the Integrated M.Sc programme at NISER, Bhubaneswar, and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai. Qualified applicants will be admitted to both participating institutes' Integrated M.Sc. programmes through this exam.

NEST Examination 2023

The NEST 2023 exam will be administered as a computer-based test in approximately 120 locations across the nation. The NEST 2023 exam will be divided into four sections, each with four sections of objective (MCQ) type questions. Each segment is worth 50 marks and will include questions from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

How to Apply ?

The following are the steps to fill out the NEST Application Form 2023

  • Step 1: Go to the official NEST website, nestexam.in.
  • Step 2: Choose 'New Registration' from the 'Apply Online menu.
  • Step 3: Complete the registration procedure by entering the relevant information.
  • Step 4: After completing all of the required information, tap the 'Register' button.
  • Step 5: The login information will be delivered to the candidate's registered mobile phone number and email address.
  • Step 6: Log in with the information you obtained and complete the NEST application form by entering the necessary data and uploading the required documentation.
  • Step 7: Apply to pay the application fee with a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Application Fees

  • General & OBC males Rs. 1200/-
  • Females, SC/ ST, and PWD Rs. 600/

Exam Pattern

  • The written examination will only be available in English.
  • MCQs will be used to answer questions.
  • The exam will last 3 hours in total.
  • There will be five sections, each with 50 points.
