JEE NTA Main Exam 2023: Some October reports suggest that NTA will release the 2023 JEE Main examination date on the third week of November 2022, but NTA has not officially confirmed this.  Exam Dates Of JEE NTA Main 2023 Will Be Out Soon

Before going into details, one should know that JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is the initial stage of the IIT Joint Entrance Exam (IIT JEE). It is a computer-based online test driven by the National Testing Agency(NTA) for 12th-standard science stream students who desire to pursue undergraduate courses in India in top engineering institutes, such as IITs, NITs, etc.

Educational Qualification for JEE NTA Main Exam 2023

  • The applicant can qualify if they have cleared their Class 12 or equivalent exam, such as a two-year Pre-University exam.
  • Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy exam
  • Senior secondary school examination
  • Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination
  • An intermediary or two-year Pre-University examination
  • A diploma recognized by the AICTE or a State board, General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.

Note: Only those students who have passed the Class 12 or parallel examination in 2021 and 2022 or those who are appearing for it in 2023 are qualified to appear in JEE Main 2023.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in January and April 2023, so the students should prepare from now onwards. The students will get exam pattern details on the information bulletin JEE (Main) - 2022. In addition, the student can get subject combinations for each paper, the type of questions in each paper, and the mode of examination every thinks in that sheet.

Reservation Points for JEE NTA Main Exam 2023

  • The General EWS category students have 10 percent of seats reserved.
  • While the OBC-NCL students have 27 percent of seats reserved.
  • The Scheduled Caste (SC) students have 15 percent of seats reserved.
  • The Scheduled Tribe (ST) students have 7.5 percent of seats reserved
  • The Persons with Disability (PwD students have 5 percent of seats reserved.
