The Indian Institutes of Technology, Bombay has declared the JEE Advanced 2022 result on the official website i.e jeeadv.ac.in. As per the short notice, the JEE advanced result date is September 11, 2022. Candidates need to enter the correct credentials such as registration number, date of birth, phone number, and captcha code to download the JEE advanced scores successfully.

The category-wise All India ranks of the qualified candidates will be available through the online portal after the announcement of the results. Candidates will also receive text messages on their registered mobile numbers. They must note that they will not receive the individual rank cards. The final admission of the candidates depends on merit and seat availability during the various rounds of seat allocation.

JEE Advanced Rank List 2022: Tie Breaking Criteria

The rank lists are prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained in the JEE advanced exam.

If the aggregate score secured by two or more candidates are same, then the following tie-breaking criteria will be used for awarding ranks

Candidates having higher positive marks will be given higher ranks.

If the tie still persists, then the higher rank will be given to the candidate who has secured higher marks in mathematics.

If there is a tie even after this, then the higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Physics.

After the declaration of the JEE advanced result, the candidates who secured rank are eligible to participate in the Joint Seat allocation process
