CSIR NET 2022 Details

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam schedule for the CSIR(Council of Scientific & Industrial Research) UGC NET 2022. CSIR NET 2022 will be conducted from September 16 to 18, 2022. According to CSIR NET 2022 notification, NTA will release the exam city slip by September 10. The CSIR UGC NET 2022 admit card will be issued by September 13.

The official notification reads, "The City Intimation Slip and Admit Cards in respect of the exam will be displayed on the NTA website csirnet.nta.nic by 10th September and 13th September respectively."

As per the official website, 'CSIR UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) or Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC).'

The eligibility criteria to appear for the CSIR UGC NET Exam 2022 is mentioned below:
General and OBC category candidates should have a degree in BTech/ BE/ BPharma/ MBBS/ BS (4-year course)/ Integrated BS-MS/ MSc with a minimum of 55% marks.
For the SC/ ST/ PwD candidates, there is a relaxation of 5%.

Age Criteria For CSIR NET

To apply for JRF, candidates must be at least 28 years old. However, there is no upper age limit to apply for the post of Lecturer.
