CBSE will open window from today for re-evaluation of marks

CBSE declared class 10 and class 12 results 2022 on July 22. CBSE class 12 result was declared in the morning, while class 10 CBSE result was out in the afternoon.

Students who are not satisfied with their CBSE class 10, class 12 term 2 results can fill out forms for revaluation or verification of CBSE term 2 class 10th marks and CBSE class 12 marks verification.CBSE has also said that even one mark difference will be reflected in your result.

CBSE Result Class 10, class 12 term 2, 2022 Re-evaluation Process
CBSE's revaluation process is a three-step process.
1. Verification of Marks (Checking for totalling errors, whether all questions are checked or not)
2. Display of photocopy of answer sheets
3. Re-evaluation of Answers

Students have to first apply for verification of marks. For this, the CBSE would get the answer sheets checked again for totalling errors, unmarked questions, and unchecked questions.
After the verification result is out, students can decide if they want to get photocopies of answer sheets or not. Point to be noted; students can only apply for the display of copies for which they have applied. Students who miss out on Step 1 cannot proceed to Step 2.

When the CBSE board shares the photocopy of the answer sheet online, students can now ask for -a re-evaluation of their answers.
Note: Here, the revaluation is done on a question basis and not on a paper or subject basis.

CBSE class 10 and class 12 marks verification: Steps to follow
Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website, cbseresults.nic.in
Step 2:In the recent announcement section, you will find, "Apply for Verification of Marks."
Step 3: Online application form will be displayed on your screen. Now, fill in all the details correctly.
Step 4: Click on submit button.
Step 5: Now, pay the fees via payment gateways or e-challan.
Rs 500/- should be paid for verification of CBSE term 2 class 10th and class 12th marks.

Applying for Obtaining Photocopy of answer sheets of Class 10th and class 12th CBSE term 2 exam
Date: August 8- August 9, 2022
Fee: 500 per answer sheet

Applying for Re-evaluation
Date: August 13-August 14, 2022
Fee: 100 per question

Guardians and students are advised to go through the assessment criteria and understand them before applying for re-evaluation because, as specified by CBSE, even a decrease of even one mark shall reflect in the mark sheets of students. Also, only the re-evaluation of Term 2 would be accepted as requests for CBSE class 10, class 12 Term 1 have already been made.

The Digital Mark sheet for CBSE class 10, class 12 term 2 would be available only after the revaluation process is completed.
