CAT 2023 Exam Date is OUT; Registration, Eligibility, and more

The CAT 2023 exam will be held on November 26th, 2023. It is India's most popular entrance exam for MBA/PGDM programmes.The CAT 2023 registration process is entirely online, with candidates creating a login ID, filling out an application form, and paying the exam price. This year, the CAT exam fee has been raised again. General/NC-OBC candidates pay INR 2,400, whereas SC/ST/PwD candidates pay INR 1,200.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a highly competitive and popular entrance exam for admission to management programmes at Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). It is a computer-based assessment of a candidate's aptitude and skills in areas such as Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR). Apart from the IIMs, CAT scores are accepted for admission to many other famous management colleges and business schools in India.

How to Apply?

• Visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in. Select 'new registration'.
• To register, enter your name, date of birth, nationality, phone number, and email address.
• Fill out the application form using the email ID you received.
• Enter your personal and academic information.
• Upload a recent passport-sized photo as well as a scanned signature. Choose your favourite courses and IIMs.
• Choose your preferred test city for exam centre allocation.
• Pay the application fee using a credit/debit card or through net banking.

Eligibility

An applicant must have a graduating grade point average of at least 50% to take the exam. A final-year graduate student may also take the exam. There is no age limit for applying and taking the exam.
