Bihar Staff Selection Commission, BSSC has released the revised Schedule of the Prelims Exam for the recruitment of 2187 candidates across various posts under the 3rd Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam 2022.
Applicants who have already applied for the vacancy can head to the official website at bssc.bihar.gov.in to download the new schedule. Earlier, the Prelims Exam was to take place on the 26th and 27th of November 2022. Just so you know, the application window for these vacancies was open from 14 April 2022 to 1 June 2022.
As per the official notification, the new dates for the Prelims Exam are the 23rd and 24th of December 2022. You can download the official notification regarding the new schedule by following the steps below

Click on Information Tab right at the top of the Homepage
It will take you to a new window with multiple notifications
Click on the one reading "Important Notice Regarding Tentative Date of Examination for Adv. No. 01/22, 3rd Graduate Level Combined Competitive (PT) Exam)"

Details about the VacancyAge Limit
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 37 Years for Male
Maximum Age: 40 Years for Female
The cut-off date to determine the age limit is 1 August 2021
Relaxation at Upper Age will be applicable as per the government rules
Application Fee
For General/OBC/EWS Applicants: Rs 540/-
For SC/ST/Handicapped Applicants: Rs 135/-Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria differ for each post.
Though for most of them it is a Graduate Degree in any Stream from a recognized institution in India.
Selection Process
Prelims Written Exam
150 objective-type MCQs will be given and you have 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete the test. Every correct answer will fetch you 4 marks whereas a wrong answer will reduce your score by 1 mark.
Qualifying Marks
For General Male Applicants: 40%
For Backward Caste Male Applicants: 36.5%
For Extremely Backward Caste Male Applicants: 34%
For All Females/SC/ST/Physically Disabled Applicants: 32%
The aim of the Commission is to shortlist candidates five times the total number of vacancies through the preliminary exam.
So in a way, some 11,000 or more candidates are expected to be shortlisted through the written test.Mains Written Exam
It will be held after the result of the Prelims Written Exam is out. BSSC is expected to release the schedule of the Mains Exam in due course of time.
