Public Service Broadcasting Day 2022: Every year on November 12th, Public Service Broadcasting Day is observed to honour Mahatma Gandhi's only visit to All India Radio in Delhi in 1947. On November 12, 1947, Mahatma Gandhi gave a speech to the refugees from Pakistan who had temporarily taken up residence in Kurukshetra, Haryana, following the division of the country. According to reports, Gandhiji described radio as the wonderful force of God, or Shakti. "My brothers and sisters who are suffering, I do not know if only you or some other people are also listening to it," Gandhiji said to start his address to nation.

India Agribusiness Awards 2022
The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Fisheries' National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), a dynamic institution, was conferred the "India Agribusiness Awards 2022" for the finest Agribusiness Award.
