What is Industrial Psychology?

The word psychology is derived from the Greek word psyche, literally meaning 'life' or 'breath.' Derived meanings of the word include 'soul' or 'self.'

What is Industrial Psychology?
Industrial Psychology is the scientific study of the human behavior in the workplace environment, technically and industrially, pertaining to the organisations.

It also deals with the study of human-computer interaction, personnel psychology and human factors, and mainly focuses on the individuals and his relationship to the workplace.

Scope of Psychology:
There is a huge scope for the candidates who study Industrial Psychology. The demand in this field is very high. You can even go for higher studies like Master's in psychology and then Ph.d.

Candidate with this degree can become assistant professor, doctor, researchers and counsellor.
