How To Become A Petroleum Engineer

To become a Petroleum Engineer, the candidates need to do a B. Tech in Petroleum Engineering. The process is equivalent to doing B.E. or B. Tech in other engineering fields such as Computer Science etc. The candidates are needed to clear the JEE Main examination and are required to clear the JEE Advanced to take admission in IITs, NITs, and other prestigious universities.

Similarly, the candidates need to appear for entrance exams for admission to masters. The most popular test is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) that provides entry to the first-year Master of Technology/Master of engineering courses.
