The Directorate General of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt of India is offering a short term course on Electric Motors and Controls through its Foremen Training Institute.
What is Electric Motor?
According to Oxford dictionary, electric motor is a machine, especially one powered by electricity or internal combustion, that supplies motive power for a vehicle or for another device with moving parts: It gets a boost from electric motors to propel the vehicle at low speeds, when the engine is least efficient.
What is a Controller?
A Motor Controller is a device that acts as intermediary between your robot's microcontroller, batteries and motors. A motor controller might include a manual or automatic means for starting and stopping the motor, selecting forward or reverse rotation, selecting and regulating the speed, regulating or limiting the torque, and protecting against overloads and faults.
