IBAB Bangalore is an autonomous institution that was founded in 2001. It was founded by the Karnataka government's Department of IT, BT, and S&T. At the graduate level, it provides M.Sc. and PG Diploma programmes. IBAB Bangalore also provides a Ph.D. programme in a variety of specialisations.

IBAB Admissions 2023

The Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology has announced that IBAB 2023 would be conducted on May 28, 2023. The application forms are available from 1 March 2023 to 13 May 2023.

How to Apply?

  • The applicant must first go to the official website and enrol.
  • To complete the registration procedure, the candidate must enter personal information such as name, DOB, contact number, and active email address.
  • The applicant must then log in using the application number and DOB to complete the application form.
  • Complete the blanks with your personal information, educational details, address, phone number, and email address.
  • Upload the photo, signature, and any other papers. Submit an online payment and complete the application form.

Application Fee

  • For Indian Students: Rs.600/-
  • For NRI/Foreign students: Rs.1200/-

Exam Mode- Online Exam

Exam Type- MCQ

Duration (in Minutes)- 120

Marking Scheme- 2 marks for each right answer.

Negative Marking- 0.5 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Number of Questions- 100

Languages- English

Admit Card

The Admit Card can be obtained by visiting the official website. It should be printed once downloaded. The directions provided on the Admit Card should be thoroughly reviewed because extremely essential information may be presented together with the Admit Card.

Admission Procedure

  • Entrance Examination

Applicants will be shortlisted based on an entrance examination. This will be done either online or in person at specific locations.

  • Interview

The ultimate choice of applicants will be determined by an interview, which will also be held at IBAB either via the Internet or in person. The schedule and mode of the interview will be communicated individually.
