One of the standout features of this 11-day program is its dedicated Placement Assistance, which is designed to support exceptional students in their job search endeavors. This aspect of the program emphasizes the objective of not only imparting knowledge but also facilitating students' transitions into the workforce. The selection process implemented by Pravartak is thorough and meticulous, ensuring that enrolled participants are best positioned to gain from the industry-ready skills being taught.
Participants will be required to pay a tuition fee of ₹15,000 plus GST, with an option for on-campus accommodation available to those who wish to stay. The accommodation package, which includes both food and lodging, is priced at ₹650 per day. Students interested in this facility must submit their requests by October 3, which aligns with the program's application deadline. This well-structured financial arrangement is designed to manage all logistical aspects efficiently, allowing students to focus entirely on their educational journey.

The comprehensive curriculum covers a broad spectrum of essential topics critical to modern electronics manufacturing and design. Students will begin with the basics of PCB assembly and solder paste application, gradually progressing to more advanced subjects such as power electronic components and embedded system design using the STM32 microcontroller. The course will encompass practical skills like solder paste printing, operation of PCBA pick-and-place systems, and a thorough understanding of SMT reflow soldering. Moreover, participants will learn to configure GPIO ports, generate PWM signals, interface ADC and DAC components, and manage LCDs and motor interfaces using the STM32 microcontroller. This extensive range of topics ensures that students are well-prepared to meet the dynamic demands of the electronics industry.

By placing a strong emphasis on practical skills and direct applications in industry, the IIT Madras training program represents a significant advancement in technical education. It effectively bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and professional application, offering a clear pathway to employment for electronics students. The collaboration between the IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation and SWAYAM Plus illustrates a mutual commitment to enhancing the employability of graduates through focused skill development initiatives.
