Zion College of Physical Education, Kadapa was established in 1986 under Zion Social Educational Agricultural Development Society, Kadapa and permitted by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The college is affiliated to Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed there graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course and also offers Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed) course for two years.

The college has well-equipped, airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities. The institute has well maintained library with wide range of books collection and journals.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.
