Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies (YIMS), Palakkad was established in 2004.

Its affiliated to University of Calicut.

The institute is an educational project of the diocese of Palakkad under the direction and leadership of Rev.Fr.Sebastian Panjikaran.

The whole campus spread over 16 acres of land is surrounded by a lush green environment, making it one of the most eco friendly colleges in Kerala.

YIMS is located at Ezhakkad - Mundur, just 15 kms away from the Palakkad town. The college is affiliated to the University of Calicut and offers both degree and diploma courses in Hotel Management at present.

YIMS is an initiative towards providing high quality management education in Kerala. YIMS, constantly motivate the students to think positively and work constructively. It is a stimulating atmosphere of teaching as well as learning.

The college students derive their confidence from the professional training that the institute mpart and the personality development programs that the institute conduct very often.

Thus, in addition to moulding students into professionals, the college help them develop the attitude and inclination to succeed. YIMS is the symbol of a perfect partnership between potential and performance.
