YPR College of Education, Medak was established in 2007 and sponsored by Y.B.R. Educational Society.

The college is affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad and approved by National Council for Teacher Educuation (NCTE) and recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The institute offers two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed there graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course.

The college has well-equipped with all modern facilities and Congenial atmosphere is created for the student-teachers to develop all round personality and capability.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at YPR College of Education, Medak in its various departments.
