Yenepoya Medical College (YDC), Mangalore was established in 1992.

The college is recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI) and is affiliated to Yenepoya University.

YDC Under Graduate & Post Graduate courses are recognized by Dental Council of India.

The first batch of BDS students finished their internship on August 1997 and began their careers as dental practitioners.

The Pre-Clinical departments are housed in the Academic block with all the required amenities.

State-of-the-art dental clinics covering all dental specialties with more than 300 dental chairs are attached to the college.

The Yenepoya Dental College is headed by Dr B H Sripathi Rao (former Executive Member, Dental Council of India (DCI) New Delhi).
