Yasin Meo (Y.M.) Degree College, Nuh (Mewat) was established in 1971.

It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress.

The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956.

It is multi-faculty co-educational degree college having 23 regular and 7 part-time lecturers. At present, the number of students in the college is around 12.5 hundred.

The importance of the college has in fact that this college provides education not only to Mewat region of Haryana but also to the neighboring districts of western U.P. and Rajasthan.

The main aim of the college is determined to provide the quality education. With the correct mix of technology and human touch, the college empowers the aspiring teachers to propagate education through the rungs of the management so that they serve the nation while making a satisfying career for themselves.

The college offers three years undergraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce & Management streams under Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
