Yanamadala Kamala College of Education, Vizianagaram was established in 2003 and managed by Yanamadala Educational Society.

The college is affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The college is located in two buildings constructed in the year of 2008 and 2012 in a approved place. The total 1.60 acres area of these buildings is more than 3618.7 sqr. mts. for B.Ed, D.Ed and for additional intake. Besides the buildings, there is lot of open space available for out door play field, etc, As such, the college is located and functions in the buildings and land owned by the YK Educational society, S.Kota.

The institute offers one year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course for those who have completed there graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course and also offers Diploma in Education (D.Ed) course for 2 years duration.

The college has well-equipped with all modern facilities and Congenial atmosphere is created for the student-teachers to develop all round personality and capability.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.

Various teaching and learning techniques are being used by the faculty to impart knowledge and skills to students at Yanamadala Kamala College of Education, Vizianagaram in its various departments.
