Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar was established in 1987.

Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar owes its origin to a “Social Contract” between the Government of Odisha and the Odisha Jesuit Society in 1987. It is acknowledged internationally as a world class business school which provides quality management Programs and develops futuristic managers with strong ethics and values.

XIM University is promoted by XIM society and has grown from the three decades of distinguished existence of Xavier Institute of Management.

Xavier Institute of Management not only imparts management education but also implements socio-economic development projects in collaboration with international agencies and the Government. The Institute creates opportunities for the growth and development of the local entrepreneurs, maximises management research and brings about the overall industrial development of India through various innovative consulting projects. The Management of the Institute is in the hands of a Board of Governors, consisting of representatives of the Jesuit Society, Government of India, Government of Odisha, and eminent industrialists and educationists.

XIMB is located on a spacious 20 acre campus on the Nandan Kanan Road. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The campus houses faculty residences, office and classroom complex, library, computer center and auditorium complex.

The Management Development Center (MDC) is equipped with modern facilities having three suites, 34 twin-sharing and air-conditioned rooms with clock Internet connection. The MDC also has four training halls with the latest training aids.

The hi-tech auditorium can seat 850 people. The classroom complex includes; Lecture halls, Seminar rooms, Multi-media hall, Computer labs, Executive class rooms.
