Xavier Institute of Computer Application, Ahmedabad was established in 1956.
Its affiliated to Gujarat University.
keeping in mind the Indian context, the growing needs of the corporate and industrial market and the need for competent software professional equipped with values of integrity of character and being men and women for others.
The institute is part of a larger Jesuit educational network all over the world.
The vision of the institute is to use a tool of higher education to shape and form women and men with a reachable dream to make this planet a reality of tolerance, equality and an inner freedom to also make this earth ecologically viable.
XICA shares the same vision of any Jesuit Educational initiative across the world keeping in mind the Indian context, the growing needs of the corporate and Industrial market and the need for competent software professional equipped with values of integrity of character and being men and women for others.
Combining all these learning processes is promoted in XICA through lectures, practical sessions, relevant seminars, workshops, remedial classes and tutorials.
