Weeta College of Education, Ananthnag was established in 2004.

It is temporarily affiliated to the University of Kashmir to impart instructions to the B.Ed. students.

This is the first College at National High Way Bijbehara while entering to the Kashmir Valley.

The College has a rich library with different reference books and subject-wise books for students. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Weeta College of Education in its various departments.

The college has well equipped, airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities.

The institute has well maintained library with wide range of books collection and journals.
