Viswavani College of Education, Nandyal was established in 1984 under Viswavani Educational Society (Estd. 1980).

The college is affiliated to Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The institute offers two years Bachelor of Education course for those who have completed there graduation with minimum aggregate of 45% from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course and also offers two years postgraduate course i.e. Master of Education.

Students here are admitted based on the Andhra Ed CET and counseling.
