Vignan Degree College was established in 1991 at Vadlamudi.

Its affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur.

Later in 1997, it has been shifted to Palakaluru. The College has been proved the best in many academic as well as cultural activities.

It has won many Gold Medals in the field of Education. VIGNAN is the pioneer and trendsetter in the residential system of education at +2 stage. VIGNAN Educational Institutions have become synonymus with High standards in Education.

A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Vignan Degree College in its various departments.
