Vira College of Engineering, Bijnor was established in 1999.

It is duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India and Government of Uttar Pradesh, and is affiliated to U.P Technical.

The college VCE was established by Vira Charitable Society Dharamnagri, Bijnor.

Vira Charitable Society (VCS), Dharamnagri was established in 1968, an educational Society which is devoted to the cause of spreading education in the area and established about a dozen Institutions from nursery level to post graduate level, both for boys and girls.

Vira College of Engineering is a further step taken by the Society in the field of higher technology filled with the aim of preparing the youth of the State for the challenges of 21st century.
