VASM College of D.Ed., West Godavari was established in 2007 and managed by Medapaty Surreddy & Achayamma Educational Society.

The college is affiliated to Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education / Director of School Education and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

With an aim to produce proficient teachers, the college offers all the basic amenities in its campus. A candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board, to be eligible for the programme. Admission is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in DIET-CET.
