Vaikunta Baliga College of Law came into being in 1957.

Its Situated in Udupi, it is one of the educational units of Dr. T.M.A. Pai Foundation, Manipal.

The law college, which is a linguistic Minority Institution, is one of the reputed and oldest law colleges in India.

Vaikunta Baliga College of Law is approved by Bar Council of India, Government of India, New Delhi for its academic programs and recognized by the University Grants Commission.
